Frist of it is a very big bridge. Second the views are lovely. Third you can see the skyline of San Francisco. Last I could go on it anytime.

The bridge is beautiful but the option of places to stop and take pics are not great. One at each end of the bridge but they are both very busy and with tour buses etc it is difficult to find parking. We went up a mountain to get a view but there was only a small parking area that was... More

The iconic Golden Gate Bridge is a must see attraction for any visitor to the City. Again we walked the 1.7 miles of the bridge from the city side over and then into Sausalito from where it is possible to catch the ferry back into town. The hiking trail once over the bridge (not city side) is relatively easy with... More

Caught the bus to Sausalito (4$), spent couple of hours there (beautiful place) then caught bus back (2$) to bridge and walked back to SF. Gorgeous views, windy and just over 2 miles in total-easy walking though.

It looks amazing from a distance and even more impressive close up. Hold onto your hat if you're on an open top bus tour!

The highlight of any trip to SF. There were whales in the bay when I walked over. Do the walk, it's worth it. Better still take a local.

You must walk this Bridge to experience how magnificent it is. I would go again as you can't believe you are seeing this amazing structure.

Walk this amazing bridge if possible or ride a push bike. Catch the hop on and off.Make sure you sit up top on the bus and hold on to your hat or cap! Very windy.

We arrived late 5pm to a beautiful bridge set in afternoon light what a wonderful sight. There were a small surf under the pylons were some hardy surfers were catching a wave. Well worth catching the no 30 bus out to the bridge for the view.

I took the tour bus to see the Golden Gate Bridge, at least back and forth for 4 times, and I don't mind to do more. It is a MUST see, but please bring more clothes, IT IS CHILLY AND COLD if you are on the upper deck.
