Nice to finally see such a wonderful bridge. It’s windy and noisy so be prepared for that. The cycling lane was closed the day we visited so it was quite congested with pedestrians and screaming cyclist! The views are breathtaking. Worth the visit.

It's the Golden Gate Bridge, so obviously you need to make the trip to see it. Walk there, bike there, or teleport there, JUST GET THERE. It really is a sight to see and it will make you feel so small like you are just...More

Well, the golden gate bridge was one of the bucket list visit which got done earlier this month. It is not as great as it is made out to be, may be the overload of expectations, still worth a trip-driving on the bridge.

Romantic and awesome view on a clear and sunny day. Expect traffic and crowds. You can walk and bike the bridge too.

We expected a lot from this sight, but it still managed to surprise us and exceed our expectations! This huge steel giant looks great in rain, fog, sun and wind (and yes, we had all these views during our 3 day stay in March!) You...More

While our youngest couldn't believe that people cared about an 'overrated red bridge', I find this to always be awe-inspiring. Not only do we love to see this from the East Bay, but visiting the Golden Gate never gets old for me. It's stunning, and...More

One of the few things one must visit if you are a tourist in SFO.. car parking can be time consuming issue if you are visiting on weekend.. the view of ocean, city , mountains is beautiful ..

We experienced the GGB in so many ways. Saw it from the bottom at Fort Point, from the top by bicycle, from water going to Alcatraz. Then drove our car across it going to Muir Woods. It never ceased to amaze us from any perspective.

Having seen various images/pictures of the Golden gate bridge in movies and on the internet, I was still in awe when in person. Fantastic to see such an engineering marvel. I was fortunate to visit on a clear day.

Take a ride down to the base of the bridge so you can walk along the sand and out on different docks! It was a rainy day when we were visiting but we still really enjoyed being outside and seeing how large this structure truly...More

Sorry for delay. Ironically I was traveling. Free parking is available to walk the GG Bridge on both the SF and Marin sides. Google “where to park to walk the Golden Gate Bridge”. Enjoy!

Yes, it is possible but I personally I think it is mostly depend on the weather / fog for the experience. I did the double decker bus tour at Gold Gate Bridge and I think it is more than enough.
