Nice to finally see such a wonderful bridge. It’s windy and noisy so be prepared for that. The cycling lane was closed the day we visited so it was quite congested with pedestrians and screaming cyclist! The views are breathtaking. Worth the visit.

Well, the golden gate bridge was one of the bucket list visit which got done earlier this month. It is not as great as it is made out to be, may be the overload of expectations, still worth a trip-driving on the bridge.
We expected a lot from this sight, but it still managed to surprise us and exceed our expectations! This huge steel giant looks great in rain, fog, sun and wind (and yes, we had all these views during our 3 day stay in March!)

We experienced the GGB in so many ways. Saw it from the bottom at Fort Point, from the top by bicycle, from water going to Alcatraz. Then drove our car across it going to Muir Woods. It never ceased to amaze us from any perspective.
Having seen various images/pictures of the Golden gate bridge in movies and on the internet, I was still in awe when in person. Fantastic to see such an engineering marvel. I was fortunate to visit on a clear day.
