Would recommend biking across the bridge so you have a great view... please be conscious that the weather has a heavy influence on the visibility of the bridge and bay.

We've been here before and done a bay cruise under the bridge. If we had enough time we would have done a helicopter tour around the bay. We could see it from where we stayed and drove over it to Muir Woods and Sausolito this time

Everyone in the world knows of the Golden Gate Bridge and she deserves to to be known for sure. You have to drive it and walk across it but if you have the chance to go under it in a ocean cruise liner that it's the best. It feel like you can actually touch the bridge. Enjoy!

It is worth a bus ride to the Golden Gate Bridge. A nice walk and look over the bay. Informative information boards about the construction of the bridge.
