I love submarines and reading about them so having an opportunity to visit this WW2 submarine was right up my alley and my wife was gracious enough to accompany me and she enjoyed herself as well. The audio tour was excellent and it was awesome...More

I've been on sub tours before. Took young kids to this one, and everyone loved it. Audio tour is informative, not too long, and not too detailed for younger kids. It's in a great area of San Francisco too, beautiful location with lots to do...More

It was very cool to see this old sub and the audio tour was helpful to learn about the ship. $20 per person was a bit much for this experience though.

When you find yourself without something to do, try this. Go visit the submarine museum that is the USS Pampanito, a WWII sub at Pier 45. Tickets are not so cheap but the walk through the sub is really interesting. Good signage in it so...More
