Wandering these old ships is fun and informative. Unfortunately, several of the ships were in dry dock for refurbishing so some previously viewed by me were not there for my family. Another was being worked on which limited where you could go and all the...More

We especially enjoyed the museum, learned a lot about the early history of San Francisco. The old ships are interesting too, a view into the past.

Really great experience. Loved the steam ship. We had a tour guide who said interesting things about the ship and answered many questions. They are all doing a great job! Worth a visit, and the visitor center is very cool.

Went here on a sunny day with temps in the high 70s. The park is great with lots and lots of grass and right next to the beach. Everyone here was relaxed doing their own thing and just enjoying a great day. Mind you the...More

This was an interesting museum to visit. There was a video you could watch detailing maritime life in San Francisco. It had a lot of information. The displays were also nice and informative. Children and adults will enjoy visiting here. It was also free entrance.

I've always come here with my grandparents. Enjoyable place to have family conversations, especially for family elders that can relate.

We've seen it just from the outside as we couldn't spent more time in SF. If we are ever going back, this will be on the top of our list, due to the rich meritime history of SF of which we have read latter.

The NPS provides a ton of activities for the children and they will be entertained and educated at the same time. Get the Junior Ranger Badge, a cool program.

There is Free parking in the wharf area. It goes really quickly though. I was able to park at Boudin Bakery and Cafe. We ate lunch and walked the rest of the Wharf to the museum and looked at the boats. If it is full, you... More

First, you can park along the street but the problem is it is 2 hours at a time so you have to feed the meter at 2 hours. It might be better to park in a lot. This place is cheap and not along walk to pier. Imperial... More
