It’s a lovely walk and tourist hot spot, therefor a lot of things are over priced. All the tour busses leave near this area. There’s a little something for everyone.

We took one of the bike rides there and it was pretty cool, we had lunch at the hard rock and walked around. Place was packed with tourist. They have a carousel which for $5 you can get 3 people on. Lasts about 2-3 minutes....More

Do not even expect a taxi, uber, lyft or any other transportation anywhere near what amounts to a traffic jam.

Really good atmosphere with plenty to do, and plenty to eat and drink. Some great views of the bay/Alcatraz.

A tourist trap. Lots of eateries and if lucky you get to see the seals and sea lions. Crowded place.

There are tons of good looking restaurants, souvenirs, and even a fruit stand. Check it out when in SF.

It's a tourist trap, for sure, but the best kind! It has a lot to see and do (mostly shopping) like people-watching. The views from the pier are really good too. We didn't eat on the pier this time around but I know there are...More

Sorry I’.m no help on this one either. There are certainly car spaces around and I don’t think they are metered but it wouldn’t be easy.
