Went for an evening tour this time and found it a more relaxed tour with less visitors . take a torch comes in handy when looking into some of the darker cells. Plus lights up a dark room for a better photo opportunity.

Fantastic audio tour and really recommend if you are in SF. Will be busy, but get there early in the morning so you can try and get around everything. Make sure you pre book as tickets will often be sold out on the day.

When we visited 2.5 weeks yep there were flies, it was like being back in Australia.
