We went on the first, 11:00 AM tour. The whole place from reception, to Rathskeller, brewing areas and even restrooms were spotlessly clean! The history of Anchor was really interesting and if you listen closely to the prohibition stories, then take the tour, then do...More

We had a great time, learned quite a bit about the Anchor Steam company itself and brewing in America as well. Jared was our tour guide and he was excellent!

A great overview of the history of Anchor and the beer making process. The tasting is generous and you can try all the beers they currently produce. Recommended if you like Anchor or beer in general.

Informative guide. Well paced tour. Important--need to wear closed toe shoes and be able to go up and down stairs. Got to taste many of their brews. Beverages only--no snacks to munch on.

Great, personable tour guide made experience enjoyable. Described the history, ingredients, process in depth. Tour of the facilities more involved than at other breweries. Tasting opportunity of all of the beers as desired - not just a few. Overall, well worth the $25 fee

I recall that the actual tour only lasts about an hour. There is a beer tasting afterward and people seemed to linger there.
