We have been to Acadia about 10 times, but never did this walk until our most recent visit. It was so beautiful! We biked the park loop road to Sandy Beach, did the walk to Otter Cliffs and back, then biked back to town. Lovely...More

A must-see for anyone spending some time in Bar Harbor. The walk is very easy, kid/kid/handicapped friendly, and allows you to enjoy gorgeous views of the harbor and its islands! This would make a perfect first stop or digestive walk!

Walked along the path and read all about the history. Our dog put his paws in the water. Great walk. Free parking at the end of one of the little streets.

About a half hour walk if you include the walk back to town. Might want to just do it both ways, because the town streets are not much to talk about.

It's an easy walk between the water and the beautiful houses in Bar Harbor that you can only see from the water's edge.

We were there just a few weeks ago and I just reviewed my photos of the path. It is level, but is not paved, but is packed gravel. Also, there are no guard rails and there are steep drop offs to the ocean below. However... More

Not sure. I was say from downtown to the end probably a little less than a mile. Lots of opportunity to view the ocean, flowers, and homes.
