A small park with a clear view of the water, you can watch whats going on it. With a gazebo and 2 pieces of cannon (de-commissioned) this park is one of the ends of Shore Path. On its side, along the Main Street, are commercial establishments like restaurants and shops. Great place for relaxing and people watching...just sit on a... More

Even in September, Agamont Park was a very popular place to hang out! Locals & cruise passengers were eating their lunch or ice cream cone, catching some sun or just people watching. The coolest thing we saw was a red 5 masted schooner in the bay @ Agamont Park. Bar Harbor was our only tendered port.

We crossed or went around the park many times on our Bar Harbor vacation. A good place to watch what is happening downtown as it is pretty much in the center of things. We weren't there when anything was scheduled so we didn't see any music being performed .... it was pretty chilly in October. I would be that an... More

Located near the cruise ship tender area, this park is a little piece of heaven. Wonderful habor vistas, fountain, cannons and people enjoying the moment. It's a photo stop and walk zone. Unless one is tired then sit awhile!

Unlike New York's Central Park or the historic town greenspaces in Boston, Agamont Park is just a small green on the edge of the eastern waterfront in Bar Harbor Village. It gets a wonderful view of the schooner, fishing and cruise ships off the coast (well, sometimes the cruise ships are more overbearing than lovely) and it gets the best... More

This park is great to relax in the evening after a great meal in town , and enjoy the sunset. Right near the shore path and within walking distance of all the great restaurants in town. A nice way to walk off dinner.

Right at the mouth of the harbor, you can see forever. Start of the shore path and benches galore to enjoy sunset over the water.

Agamont Park in Bar Harbor is located at the foot of Main street. There are benches and a fountain but not much shade. The parks is on a hill sloping down to the harbor and the views from the top are truly outstanding on sunny days.

Walking downtown and this park is right at the Harbor! Nice place to rest! Since there's no other way to post pic of surrounding scenery using this review!
