Although you can see it from the road, it is misleading to bill it as "Park Loop Road." It is fairly far out at the mouth of the bay, and is accessible only by boat.

Went to the rock on the Lobster and Seal tour. Certainly did see a lot of seals, and got some good information on them from our naturalist. The island itself is protected. No visitors can go on it.

Was a very foggy day but could see part of the light (automated). It's now a bird sanctuary, also. Nice to add to one's collection of lighthouses.

Didn't visit the lighthouse, but loved seeing it from the water! Worth visiting on the Lighthouse Boat Tour!

We were able to view Egg Rock Light up close on a boat tour. A nice little spot with seals soaking in the sun in the rocks. Good photo op.

With the island closed due to nesting birds the cruise by got us close anyway for a great view. Very different with the light protruding from the top of the building.

Beautiful lighthouse, but falling into disrepair and needs to be saved! It would be a shame for the lighthouse to fall by the wayside, and it appears some work is being done to repair and restore it, but needs a lot of help.
