We've come to Acadia for years but never made the trek over to Schoodic before--it's a nice trip. Incredible views from the point, and be sure not to miss the Rockefeller House displays. It's not really well marked, but they have a neat little museum.

It was a little overcast and chilly the day we went but it was still beautiful! We walked out along the water and got lots of great photos (my husband is a photographer).

Make Schoodic a priority if going to Bar Harbor region. Beautiful granite boulders along the coast with the waves crashing against them. Awesome and thrilling. It was cool in June, but still a great time and SO glad we went.

Less than a hour's drive from Bar Harbor, the Schoodic Peninsula is a must see. Walk to the point and view the awesome power of the sea. Lovely to stop and see ,hear, and feel the waves crash onto the rocks. Thrilling

Beautiful at any time, but more aggressive and showy at high tide - quite in places and some very majestic views
