Morning, Afternoon or Sunset Windjammer Cruises

on the 4 Masted Schooner Margaret Todd or

2 Masted Schooner Bailey Louise Todd

Join us for a sail among the islands of Frenchman Bay aboard one of our historic schooner vessels. Seasonally sailing the Margaret Todd and/or the Bailey Louise Todd. There are three trips daily, of approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

**Please note that late in season, the sunset sail is a shorter excursion. View Acadia National Park from the bay, watch lobster men hauling their traps, watch for wildlife, or just relax on our spacious decks.

Nice sunset cruise with music

They just go out for a while then turn and come back, so you could probably get the same experience on the ferry, but the sailing experience is nice

They switched us from one cruise to another. Much smaller boat and very overcrowed! Also trip was alot shorter than advertised! definitely not worth the money! Take the whale watchers cruise instead, much more information on surroundings and lobster industry!

We rode on the Margaret Todd on a sunny afternoon. The crew was great and the tie was well worth it. We didn't see much wildlife because of the time of year but we would do this again.

Even on a cold, breezy, drizzly day we had an excellent voyage. Great, knowledgeable crew. Nice tour around the islands. We saw lots of wildlife in, on and above the water. Thank you!

This tour was a lovely break from the jam packed streets of Bar Harbor. It was quiet and serene on the boat. The narration by a park ranger was an extra added feature.

This 4 master looks the part and should have been good to go some. Despite a breeze and all sails raised we almost came to a complete stop as soon as the deisel was s switched off. After crawling out into the bay and around an anchord cruise liner the angina was restarted to get us back to the jetty.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. However, we are not an off-shore sailing excursion nor are we a racing sailboat. Our itinerary allows us to accommodate passengers of 90+ years old to newborn babies. More

The afternoon sail was advertised as a 1 and 1/2 to 2 hour sail. We back onshore in an hour and fifteen minutes. We had to listen to the motor most of the time even though it was a windy day. The crew was not very friendly. It was pretty obvious that it was the end of the season.

We are sorry you feel you did not receive the cruise you had anticipated. However, during exceedingly windy days the captain keeps the engine running in case he may need extra maneuverability. There are many obstacles to maneuver around such as the numerous lobster pots, and boat. More
