In the village you can shop in cute touristy type shops, beautiful views, and have amazing local fare. Then of course, the j forgettable Acadia National Park. Great for both the outdoorsy or just those who want a beautiful drive. Can't go wrong on MDI.

I like going in the spring or just after Labor Day. The mornings are the best in my experience, but that's not always the case.
