We walked this beach. Had to constantly watch where we stepped due to all the trash, cans, and broken glass littering the grounds. No trash cans are provided which discourages anyone from cleaning up their trash. So sad!!

I love Ypao beach because I love to snorkel in this protected Marine Preserve. The fish are varied and plentiful if you swim past the sandy shore out where the coral starts. Each outcrop of coral seems to have a different variety of fish and like our cities each area has a different personality so make sure to explore as... More

Ypao Beach park is easily accessible to all tourists so it's a must visit. There's plenty of public parking but when we went there all the bathrooms were closed. The beach area further way from the Hilton hotel had finer sand and less rocks. I would swim in that area.

Beach is open to the public, with small cement cottages and a large cement hall for public use. Bathroom is accessible as well, though needs a bit of maintenance. Good yellow coral sands, very clean water. Has a barrier of reef that prevents the waves from crashing in, making it perfect for some snorkeling and wading around.

I usually swim around Tumon bay every weekend. It is a great beach for snorkeling and spacious picnic area. Most local people cook barbecue in here.

This is a beautiful and romantic beach. The water here is amazing, and the sand is so pristine. I highly recommend it for a long walk or perhaps just to sit and listen to the waves.

Ypao Beach Park is a great spot for kids or beginning snorkelers. Most of Guam's beaches are protected by a reef, and this beach park has the added benefits of facilities (bathrooms and showers), nearby parking, and a lifeguard most days. The sand is soft and white, and the water clear. The water is relatively shallow almost all the way... More

If you don't know swimming and scared with deep water, this place is a good for you to snorkeling with a shallow reef and coral. You even can walk in some place as well. You can't imagine why so many coral and fish next to you in such a shallow water. Most important, it is free of charge. You just... More

Good snorkeling, beach, and facilities. Had bbq areeas, bathrooms, showers and parking. Very good snorkeling with good variety across the long beach areas. Bear the hotels and shopping strip.
