One of the top Hawaii attractions includes the Polynesian Cultural Center, which features a 42-acre facility on the North Shore of Oahu. Founded in 1963, the nonprofit Center was created so that the students of nearby Brigham Young University Hawaii could work their way through college by sharing their island heritage with visitors. The students come from an area that covers approximately 12 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.

A must see for future travelers. The venue is topnotch for sightseeing itself and the evening show "HA - the Breath of Life" would pretty much sum up a short history of the Polynesian culture. We bought the tour and show package and were very satisfied for the whole day experience. If we have much vacation time, we would skip... More

We took the hour plus drive from where we were staying to visit the cultural centre and it was well worth it though it made for a very long day. We managed to fit in visits to several of the "islands" though we were not able to make the presentations in all. The Fiji presentation was great- lots of audience... More

Aloha, Thank you for leaving some great feedback for the Polynesian Cultural Center. Our team works very hard to create meaningful experiences for our guests, so it's nice to hear we've been doing well. Thank you also for giving our future guests a heads up about the Super Ambassador Package. The personal tour guide and organized agenda can really add... More

Went to see the show Breath of HA. A must see for tourists and locals. Performers are top notch. Well worth the price. Buy the package where you get a nice Hawaiian dinner and show.

We went as a group of 13,6 adults and 7 kids, for the luau and Ha show. Although done on a big group basis the luau was fun and the kids enjoyed joining in the Hula dancing on stage. The food was better than we expected, the Kalua pork was delicious. The Ha show was entertaining - if you read... More

If you didn't have the opportunity, I'd invite you to attend our village performances that take place between 12:00-5:00p. These are great experiences that I'm sure the kids would enjoy. We had seen this show years and year ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, unfortunately We cannot say the same for this visit. We paid a substancial amount of money for this experience and unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations so I would advise others to think about what they are paying for before they purchase it. We... More

Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand nations are all represented in full costume telling their ancestral stories in song & dance. It is beautiful and educational to see!

We took the bus tour from our Waikiki hotel with our 2 kids ages 10 & 12. The guide on the bus tried to sell us an "upgraded" ticket with a tour guide the whole trip. We did not do the upgrade & did not need a guide. They give you a map with the schedule & you can map... More

We went to visit and found it closed. I guess on Mondays they are not open, but when we saw what it cost per person it was a bit high for our budget. The front entrance looked very nice though.

Aloha, I'm sorry that you showed up when we were not operating. To be clear, we are open Monday through Saturday at 12:00p. It's possible that you came earlier in the morning before we opened, or actually came on Sunday when we are closed. I really wanted to like this place. I came there genuinely excited. I really just think I had the wrong impression of what this place is. Re-reading numerous reviews, I still don't think it fully would have sank in. The Epcot references are probably as close as you can make a comparison. I was expecting more of a serious museum...
