Show was better than expected but the food wasn't the best . Authentic Hawaiian food was served like teriyaki beef, poi, pork from a pig cooked underground. You get to witness the ceremony of raising the pig from the ground. The dancers we excellent, everyone...More

We had a wonderful experience at Germaine's luau! Everything from our tour guide that led the entertainment in the bus to the luau itself, was fabulous. Donna was our leaders name, I believe. She was great. Also, the actual performance was awesome! The costumes were...More

A bus picked us up at our hotel and we made rounds to other hotels to pick people up. Our "guide" for the trip was hilarious and made the bus trip as fun as the luau both to and from. The luau is on a...More

This was our first luau experience and we enjoyed the entire evening. We found the dancers enthusiastic and energetic, giving a wonderful performance. They encourage audience participation which is to be expected so just "hang loose" and go with it! There was plenty to eat...More

This was our first luau ever so we enjoyed ourselves. The dinner consisted of Hawaiian cuisine and was buffet style. We also enjoyed the entertainment. We sat at the front table from the stage without having to purchase an upgrade so that was nice. The...More

This was my first, and probably last luau. Five family members traveled to Waikiki. Two of us went to Germaine's on August 22, 2017. The next day we had violent stomach problems--none of the family who did not go got sick. It took almost a...More

I've been to a few Luau, and they are all the same in my opinion. Some place has better food; some has the better location, etc. It's all subjective in my mind. This one is located in Kapolei, away from Waikiki so if you want...More

Don't base your stay on luau shuttle stops. Odds are, if the shuttle doesn't stop at your hotel you'll be within walking distance to a stop. Ask your hotel concierge, they will better serve your question.
