Kayak on beautiful Kane'ohe Bay located on the windward coast of Oahu....

Kayak on beautiful Kane'ohe Bay located on the windward coast of Oahu. Kane'ohe Bay is home to Oahu's only barrier reef. Enjoy a guided eco-tour with Kama'aina Kids' friendly staff of certified instructors. Experience the magnificence of Kaneohe Bay's pristine waters and diverse sea life with the Bay's one and only kayak eco-tour. The three hour tour will journey to Coconut Island, home of the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology (and where the television show, Gilligan's Island, was filmed). Along the way explore and snorkel at various patch reefs and observe sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish in their natural habitat. Your guide will point out cultural sites, such as the traditional Hawaiian fish pond at He'eia, and will also explain some of the challenges facing the ecosystem of the Bay. The protected waters of the Kaneohe Bay make it a perfect place for kayakers of all skill levels. This hands-on approach makes it a safe and exciting learning experience for all ages.

This was a great way to explore a part of Oahu and see some great wildlife. Holokai is located just off the main coastal highway, so it's very easy to get to. The package started with a 15 minute Kayak tow to Coconut Island, which allowed all the participants to take in the views. Once we got to the island,... More

We rented a kayak and snorkeling equipment and had a great time! We got pretty lost trying to get back to the rental place but I called them and they came and picked us up, we had paddled 6 miles past! Oops! Still a great experience

My boyfriend had such a smooth experience with this wonderful trip. Our shuttle picked us up from the hotel on time, we got plenty of detailed instruction on the kayak, and were let loose for a few hours. We kayaked to the sunken sandbar, where we are able to anchor our kayak and frolic in the balmy ocean for a... More

Thank you Holokai, you made my bday even better than I hoped!! My gf & I did the 2.5 hr guided kayak & snorkel. I highly recommend it. Not only was the staff super fun but they also cook a mean BBQ lunch for the guests and provide great narrative throughout the excursion. We saw two huge turtles, one was... More

Great Experience! Much more personalized than a big booze cruise can ever hope to be. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. (Great food too!)

My husband and I had never snorkeled or Kayaked in the ocean before. Our guides, Zoe and Micah were super patient, helpful, and kind through our learning experience. We also loved that we were in a small group and everything was included (gear, snacks, food). The view of the island from the kayaks was spectacular. The snorkeling around 'Gilligan's Island'... We went for a morning sail on the Hobie Cat with Parker. Wonderful experience from time of booking to our return. We were picked up in Waikiki and rode with our knowledgeable and friendly driver to He'eia Park for the sail. With chancy winds, we almost chose kayaks, but Parker was able to read the weather and we were able... More

The instructors were great and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed being able to kayak and snorkel during the same excursion. My only downfall with the site was that all the boat traffic made the water a little foggy, so it was hard at times to see clearly during snorkeling. We saw a lot of amazing fish/ marine life though!

The guides Zoey and Mika were both very nice, but with bad weather, this really wasn't as enjoyable as I would have hoped. I thought that a guided snorkel tour would be worthwhile rather than just renting snorkel gear on my own because I would have a better likelihood of seeing cool fish, turtles, etc., but because of the weather...
