Absolutely worth waking up early to catch the prettiest sunrise eve! Not a hike for little kids. A few tough spots to climb up. Bring lots of water and allow about an hour to make it up to top. If you make it to first...More

My daughter and I did this awesome little hike. Lovely views of Lanakai. Don’t miss it. Afterwards pop to one of the many beach access points and enjoy a swim. We found street parking easily but we were there quite early. Take water. Mahalo.

Do try in the morning to catch the sunrise as it's facing east. Went there in the afternoon but the view was still spectacular. The hike was steep at some points but there were ropes to help you along. Be careful along the ridges as...More

Great view and really cool bunkers. It is very steep initially, but levels out. Use the rope, especially when it rains as it gets very slick!

Definitely recommend doing this if you're up to it. You don't have to be super fit to make it to the first set of pillboxes but you definitely have to be at least a little agile and be careful with your footing. There were a...More

This isn’t a tough hike, nor is it a long hike, but it is steep and it will get your heart rate up. It was dry when we went up but the ground would get very muddy and slippery I’d imagine if it was raining....More

Amazing hike. Short. beautiful. Hard... I am 65 and don't hike much but pretty active. I had to go slow and be careful of my balance... its very steep and can be slippery when wet. But well worth the time. Take it slow - enjoy...More

While this hike is short the incline can be a little steep for those with no hiking experience. The view is absolutely worth it though! There is no parking lot, you'll have to park along the side of the road and walk.

I think our kids at that would really have loved this hike! But can't imagine trying to do it in flip flops! There are some steep spots!

This is an unofficial, unmaintained "trail" as I & others mentioned. Treacherous when wet, unsuitable for casual "strollers" & folks who are not physically fit, safest with hiking footwear. As such, no fees, nor parking. I... More
