It was a wonderful day to walk through the gardens here. So much variety of species of flowers from hibiscus to many different kinds of trees! The day we went there was a lovely lady that was able to tell us many interesting information about...More

It was a great walk through lovely gardens. The falls were nice, it was great swimming in a fresh water pond. It would be great to spend a bit more time - maybe stay for lunch. Not sure if you can bring a picnic in?

Still love this place! But doesn't seem like there were any people in the park to tell you about the Hawaiian village or flora.

Our circle tour of Oahu stopped at Waimea Falls Park for an hour. We walked to the falls through the most beautiful botanical garden. Peacocks strolling. Lots of swimmers in the pool. They have a nice gift shop and snack bar. Try Uncle's Sea Salt...More

A visit to the park was included as part of our North Shore tour package. The kids couldn't wait to get to the waterfall and weren't disappointed. The park itself is beautifully maintained and whilst the walk was longer than expected - it gave us...More

The grounds are beautiful. The trees are spectacular. The flowers are brilliant. The falls...are tiny and you couldn't pay me to get in the water. (Read the warning signs.) If you're looking for a big waterfall, this is not it but it is pretty nonetheless....More

A stop not to miss. Stunning plants and flowers. The final 100 feet of the hike to the falls is not an easy one. If you have older folks traveling with you, be sure to take the shuttle.

We spent an afternoon in Waimea Valley and Falls Park. The gardens are beautiful and the icing on the cake is the falls at the end. My 3 year-old daughter and I really enjoyed swimming in and around the falls. Highly recommend!

This botanical garden is wonderful because you get to find out where every species of (beautiful and weird looking) plant came from, since nothing is native to Hawaii. Cap it off with the falls and it can't be beat. The walkways are paved, but I...More

I think you don't pay for parking and only for the park entrance.

The answer to rental or camping in the park of Waimea is no. You can stay at the beach and camp. Suggest to go online and look for rentals of tents in Oahu Hawaii. Many people were staying at camp sites up in the North... More

The hike is about 20 minutes of more if stop and look at the botanical plants and huts on the way up to the falls.
