The entrance price is quite steep for what is really not a very exciting place. The flora is lovely but it's basically a walk along a road to the falls. Once there you have to wear a life jacket to go in the water. If you've never been in nature you might be impressed but otherwise give it a miss.... More

If you coming just to swim below falls it will be an expensive swim at $16 per adult, but if you take in all the great displays of the flora and fauna then it's worth it. We spent 2 hrs walking around all the trails and yes the falls and swimming areas were very science. Good food and clean washrooms... More

Enjoyed a walk through the park looking at all the flora fauna. Really enjoyed this. Nice paved walks and descriptions/names of plants. At the end is a great little waterfall you can cook off and enjoy. Great for all ages

We had an amazing time with my friends. The price entrance is good because the place is nice and clean. The people there was very nice, the place is beautiful, every tree has info, thing that is good because the way to the falls is far from the entrance, is good to walk, and look at the nature and enjoy... There are two ways to get to the falls. A long walk on an asphalt road that has some steep inclines or an expensive shuttle. If you take the shuttle you will miss the botanical gardens, which is what you are really paying for. There could be a long wait for the shuttle. A couple were waiting for the the... More

So if you're just visiting the island and you've noticed it's been raining a lot recently I highly recommend making it up to north shore and checking out Waimea falls; if there has been some decent rain falling the waterfall gets massive. The hike to the falls is great for kids because there is a paved roads for easy walking... More

The walk to the falls was the prettiest I saw on the island. The landscaping is well thought out for the botanical gardens. We saw a peacock too. We went in January and several things were in bloom. The waterfall was beautiful, but too cold to swim in for our taste.

The hike goes through a botanical garden. There were many plants and flowers to look at along the way. The hike is on a paved surface suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. There were a couple of hills that had to be negotiated. There is swimming allowed at this waterfall, but I'm not sure why. The sign at the entrance states... More

The walk to the Falls its quite beautiful with lots of flower, trees and plants. It is a paved trail an relatively easy, although there are some hills. The flora is well identified along the trail. You can pay for a shuttle ride up as an option. At the the entrance to the park there are restrooms and food and... More
