This is a macadamia nut farm which is tiny but the local guy who runs it is nice and knowledgable. The “tour” is free and his nuts are reasonably priced. We got to crack nuts and eat them!

This was the highlight of a day long tour we took on Molokai, but you can visit without buying a day long tour package and it's worth the visit. The family-owned and operated farm is full of fun learning experiences, funny stories, and of course, tasting. We got to hear about the history of the island and learn the many... More

Nothing like fresh macadamia nuts! This is the place to go. Wonderful couple that owns it and the husband manages and Farms all macadamia nuts himself. He personally hand touches and packages each macadamia nut. Very interesting and educational.

This is a fun place to stop to find out everything you would possibly ever want to know about macadamia nuts. We enjoyed chatting with the owner about the history of the island's economy over the past 50-odd years - it's always more interesting to get the locals' perspective of life than just reading the tourist book version. Our family... More

The sweet family who runs this farm are so welcoming. It was interesting to learn how macadamia nuts grow through various stages and to see tiny nuts on the tree. We then got to crack our own nuts and hear about various products made from the nuts. There were several different items for sale (of course).

We read about this before we left for our trip, so added to our "things to do" as soon as we arrived. The man that owns this nut farm has operated it for years, and it was so interesting finding out about the way nuts grow, from the flowering stage to all of the stages between that and the final... My husband & I visited Purdy's macadamia nut farm in May 2016. Learn all about the production of macadamias & sample fresh macadamia nuts, macadamia honey, macadamia honey mustard, etc. The fresh macadamias from this farm were so delicious, & we had to buy some to enjoy back home!

The owner is a homesteader and is proud of what he has accomplished there. His talk is very informative and the demonstrations are hands on. The products he sells are varied and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed the many varieties of flowering trees and plants alongside the many Macadamia trees. We found the explanation of "Mac" farming interesting along with interactive opportunities to crack ripe nuts and tasting of the lightly roasted and salted nuts a great treat. We enjoyed them so much, we purchased a large bag of macadamia nuts grown, harvested and prepared... More
