One of the sightseeing venues not to be missed especially if the sun is shining. There will be steps to climb to the best viewing site but the 'needle' can be viewed from the large parking lot.

Definitely a pretty area! Will be a quick visit but worth the experience. Will have to pay to park but was only $5.

Its a lovely place, although the rain and clouds can reduce the views. Still a cool place to visit though. The hike is short - I'd say very short. There's bathrooms here, but they were closed for renovations in mid-August 2015 and porta-loos were the...More

I had read (and heard) this was a great visit. It was nothing. A $5 parking fee, crowds of people, a few concrete paths that you can cover in 15 minutes, and a view of the needle. I understand you can take hikes into the...More

Nice short hikes here, but they are now charging 5 dollars for parking. Park on the road before you get there and walk in. Sadly, while walking down along the creek locals were drinking and smoking pot in several different places. Not so cool.

Lovely park with some excellent views - easy walking and combined this visit with an afternoon on the beach half an hour away. Not expensive to get in although toilets were out of order when we went.
