The tour was great. A fine mix of the history of immigration to the Island, with example after example of what that means in terms of the food eaten today. My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. We expected that it would be quite different from other food tours we've been on in the past- especially since it was a private tour- and we were not disappointed. It is not that this tour was not interesting, and not that the tour guide was not well informed, it just seemed that we paid a lot more than what we received in return. The four of us paid $440.00 (plus tip) in total, and were fed food which in total cost less than $100.00. The tour consisted of us... More
