Excellent displays of sea life in the waters of Maui. Tropical fish exhibits are beautiful and very well labeled. Free parking. Very nice gift shop with a lot of fine art and jewelry. Good food options. Allow at least one hour for full experience.

I went to the aquarium with my teenage son. There was some very interesting history about Hawaii but as far as the exhibits they were nothing special. The large aquarium with sharks and various rays was very nice

If You visit Maui don't forget to take a time to come to the largest aquarium in the West Hemisphere. And You need to spend more than 1 hour to see what really it is.

The aquarium was very cute but kind of small it took less than and hour to see everything. I got a deal online for 20 bucks a person so it wasn’t too bad. I would definitely recommend it for families with smaller children

We paid $29.00 for the day pass online. Overall a good place to take kids to learn about sea life around Hawaii.

There is enough for my 11 and 6 year old girls to do for about 2-3 hours. A lot to look at in the gift shop too. We come here every time we are on Maui. Love that they rotate the fish in their exhibits...More

We visited Maui Ocean Center for the behind the scenes tour with my nine-year-old daughter. She loved it and we all learned something. My mom was with us and walks with a cane. The walk was a bit challenging for her to keep up. If...More

I checked with my 15 year old daughter who enthusiastically said yes. The only ones I remembered were the ones they were raising that we saw in the behind the scenes tour. Enjoy!

3 hours is plenty. But if course it all depends on the kids attraction to the exhibitions.
