Woke up to a rainy day and decided to visit the Maui Ocean Center. The staff was very informative and the exhibits were wonderful. Great way to spend a rainy day in Maui.

This is a wonderful aquarium with knowledgeable staff and great exhibits. The Humpback 3-D sphere video presentation must be seen to be believed. Almost reach out and touch a whale.

Yes it is worth it. Besides seeing / learning things "behind the scenes," you also get access to the "public" side to see the daily presentations, gift shop, food, etc.

I checked with my 15 year old daughter who enthusiastically said yes. The only ones I remembered were the ones they were raising that we saw in the behind the scenes tour. Enjoy!
