Come here if you want a REAL souvenier made by a local artist for the same price as the tourist trap places. Great cultural center as well on beautfu grounds. Classes taught in painting and glass blowing and pottery.

Its nice you can see local art and jewelry and things like that. Worth a look if you like art not to hard to find its below Makawao town a few hundred yards.

An old plantation house turned into a center for the visual arts. Rotating exhibits in a small gallery and a small gift shop with the products of local artisans. Kids of all ages will enjoy the magic of the Patrick Dougherty twig sculptures outside.
