What a fantastic day we had on this two hour round trip. We were promised whales and whales are what we got. We saw a mother and her calf and the highlight was seeing one launch out of the water right beside the boat. Take a good camera, and enjoy the ride. The crew will ensure you have an unforgettable... Done a couple different whale watching trips and this was by far the best. Of course it depends on the whales, if they are active you cannot miss them on any boat. I liked being on a slightly larger boat that is plenty stable in high swells. We probably saw a dozen different whales all very active and right beside... More

We went out on the Maui Princess on 02/08/17, which is during the height of the whale season in Maui. This is an older vessel and not designed for whale watching, which made it uncomfortable. There is no narration or education provided by the crew, as with other whale watching providers. Other than yelling out where the whales could be... More

We went on the Early Bird Whale Watching trip. We were on the KAULANA a fairly open two decked catamaran. We sailed on a clam morning and found the KAULANA to be a great platform for whale watching. We left the port at 0730 sharp. We headed across the channel in search of whale. We had a great time and... More

My husband and I and the rest of the turist in the boat, we were blessed with the boat team, they were sure we see whales, and telling us all about whale season. Even we couldn't see, Jumping whales, or splashing tales, the experience to be that close, is great, those beautiful animals are taking care of them babies whales,... More

Got to see several whales and the staff explained things well and there comments were informative and entertaining. The boat however was not what appeared in the pictures, it was old, not very clean and the restroom was a joke. We enjoyed the whale watching but I had expected a much nicer overall experience.

Had a great experience! The bigger boat was better for me who is prone to motion sickness. Was a rough day and was only a bit nauseous after. Wish you offered a 4 hour tour. We saw lots of whales but I wanted more! Staff were great!

We were with a large group and this trip was funded by the group organizer. I would have been very disappointed if I was paying. The food was just ok and the service was mostly waitstaff running food up and down without care to serve the entire table at once. My family was almost done before I finally found someone... More

Family of eight including two children took the Island Princess on a whale watching cruise. Less than ten minutes from dockside we came across our first whale then another and another - even the skipper and crew were impressed how quickly we came across this pod of whales. Next, the skipper noticed a mother with calf, suspected to be about... More

So many whales! So much information given by the crew about whales. We were lucky to also see some dolphins as well. The highlight of the boat ride was seeing a calf and its mum and also two male humpback whales swimming together. They swam right under our boat and the shadows were such a sharp aqua blue! We saw...
