Most bang for your buck $30 each way - and if you are fortunate you might see some dolphins. I wasn't quick enough but others did see them today. Peaceful hot journey on the upper deck on the way there on the 9:15am ferry -...More

We took the ferry and had a great time. This is number 6 and felt very new. The ride was good going over and a roller coaster coming back. I enjoyed the ride. Do this one.

We had advanced reservations so it was an easy check-in process. They tell you to be there early and you should heed that advice. A line at the check-in can form at times and the ferry leaves promptly on schedule.

The only time I had been to Lanai was over 25 years ago around the time the new resort was getting their sand traps filled with sand from Australia. Our guide Tony did a great job filling in what happened before and after that time....More

Are there things to do right where the ferry lands on Lenai without renting a car etc.? We would only be there a couple of hours.

If you only have a couple of hours I would bring snorkels, towel and swimsuit (as suggested earlier) and walk over to the beach. It's a beautiful one, dolphins like to hang out there once in a while. Perfect for a picnic... More
