This was the time and place to see the "best blowhole on Maui" and that it was a pretty easy hike from the road. The road is rough, not clearly marked to find the blowhole and we did that book miss the boat! The trails...More

Very cool hike if you find yourself on the North Shore of Maui. But you should wear real shoes when climbing down all the jagged rocks. Saw people this morning heading down the "trail" in flip flops, not the best idea. The rocks on the...More

This is worth the drive if the wind and waves are right. NOTE - the road getting there is not for the faint hearted.

What a beautiful and fairly easy "hike" - be sure to stop at the beacon and go all of the way around to the blow hole - you will not be disappointed

A short walk to the edge allows you to see a great view of the coastline and the blow hole. You can hike down to it if you wish. Paths are a little challenging but you can see this without going all the way to...More

Trail is a bit steep down to the blow hole but very much worth it views are awesome. Good running shoes advised although some individuals wore flip flop. Not clearly mark so you need to keep an eye out for this awesome trail .

We stopped here on our way to the blowhole, and I'm glad we did...the scenery in this area is surreal, and tells the story of just how violent the ocean and wind can really be. Great hike!

When we pulled into the Mile Marker 38 parking lot, there was a Julie's Banana Nut Bread stand that sold really great treats, including the banana nut bread, and even better, coconut candy (referred to as coconut crack, cause it is addicting). What a great...More

This trail is amazing. It is unmarked, so we weren't sure we were in the right place, but decided we could always backtrack if necessary. I'm so glad we took this hike. The formations are amazing and the blowhole is a force of nature. So...More

Fantastic view and impressive blow hole ! The hike down to the blow hole is not that easy. Not recommended to do it with flip flop like we did... It is better to use running shoes or hiking shoes. The trail down is short however....More

No, you can't. Buses stop in Napili. It's still a bit of a drive from there. Walking is definitely not a good idea either. The road becomes narrow and windy and people drive way too fast on it. Too far to walk to anyway... More
