Wonderful beach and great views, but the waves and current can be more than most swimmers are use too. There are also days of relative calm, which makes it easy for the less adventersome.

OK, lovely to be by the waters of the Pacific, but it's fairly narrow for much of its length and quite steeply sloping in parts. Not my scene, but it may suit you!

The Ka'anapali Beach is a local beach that incorporates about six different hotels which are ocean front. All beaches are public so even if you are not staying at one of the beach front hotels you can make yourself at home in the sand.

It is definitely paradise. A place to swim, a place to relax in the sun or a place to dive. You will not be disappointed.

Ka'anapali is Maui's #1 beach for a reason. It is vast, beautiful, and welcoming even when crowded! We love Ka'anapali!
