Couldn't get to Molokini crater on cruise due to wind

Maui to Lanai - Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Lunch Cruise (from Lahaina Harbor). We did not see any dolphins. Very disappointed. Saw turtles and some fish. Coral was poor. We were told wet suit vest highly recommended. That we would be cold in 20 minutes. THAT WAS A LIE! Twenty dollars down the drain. Oh well there went the tip.... More

Crew on board were friendly and there were some interesting fish whilst snorkelling, breakfast was adequate and lunch was poor (as it wasn't a bbq lunch like the brochure said) the boat was old and had no fans or anything to keep passengers cool and it was 2 hours to get to the snorkel locations which was just far too... These boats have black smoke coming out the back of them the whole time. They are old and dirty. I understand boats do pollute the ocean anyways but come on that's disgusting for the ocean and the air. Buy a new boat already.

I took this ferry and tour with my parents around 2012 and am looking forward to taking my husband in a couple of weeks. This is a very quiet island with proud, private people. If you learn the incredibly sad but also beautiful history of this island before you go you will be better prepared for the experience. I had... More

The staff were all very nice & efficient. There were plenty of continental breakfast items- muffins & fruit. The lunch was "do yourself" sandwiches with all the fixings. There was a Mac salad & chips. There was plenty of water & soda. Nothing to complain about. It was too windy for us to get to Molokini crater today. On the... More

We were disappointed by the snorkelling and what we were able to see on this trip.it was nice to get on the water but we have snorkelled in Thailand waters and saw very little fish in the deep waters we were dropped to.There was one stop in the Molokini crater waters and it was too rough and after 25 mins... We took the Molokai Ali'i tour. The trip over on the ferry was pleasant. We met our guides and boarded the air conditioned van. The trip to the museum was interesting, but we could only overlook the settlement at Kalaupapa. There were three van loads of us and each of the guides took turns telling interesting stories and presenting the... More

I've seen the not-so-great reviews of this tour but went anyway since I really wanted to see Molokai. The ferry ride over was terrific - we saw a huge pod of dolphins and quite a few whales on the way. You get muffins and fresh fruit for breakfast and they have coffee on board as well. I sat upstairs in... More

We took a 7:30 whale watching tour. Boat was old and seemed fairly rundown. Crew was friendly and nice. Boat holds close to 150 people but our 7:30 tour had less than 50. I can't imagine being on this boat at capacity.

We went to the Molokini snorkeling trip. 4 stars, only because of the crew. The crew was very helpful while taking care of us during the trip. They gave us tips for snorkeling and took us to both the spots. The boat is kind of old and the lunch is a cold cut sandwich.
