We choose this beach because it was fairly close to Black Rock and parking was definitely easier than anything near Black Rock. Sandy beach with easy entry into the water - good snorkeling - lots of fish to view. I didn't view any coral nearby,...More

This is a great beach for snorkeling if you are a swimmer. It has little sand beach, after you enter the ocean for maybe 10 feet, the sand dropped and it becomes the rocks and corals and fish! So if you can swim or with...More

I came here to scuba dive. It was a nice clear beach. Lots of free parking available, picnic tables, grills, restrooms and places to wash up after the beach. The waters are calming here than some of the other beaches I visited in Maui.

I've watched the popularity of this beach grow over the years. It used to be a well kept secret before the Westin Villas came here (it used to be the local airport). Great swimming along this long stretch of great beach. Snorkeling is great in...More

A wonderful public beach facility nestled between resorts. If you show up early, you can get a shaded parking spot. Parking aside, the snorkeling is great. This morning I saw some spotted eagle rays among the normal delights. Also, and this may be my all-time...More

The beach is as good as Ka'anapali but without the crowd, and plenty of parking. Also known as Old Airport Beach (Maui's west airport used to be here) Kahekili beach has a long sandy shoreline with the reef close to shore, making it perfect for...More

Lots of parking if you get here before 9. A lot of coral and fish to see. We saw at least 50 dolphins swimming by in the afternoon. Plenty of shade if you suck up to brush and trees to the left as you face...More

Yes, I'm fairly certain SUPs can be rented from the activity hut in front of the Maui Kaanapali Villas just south of the park.
