Nothing very impressive about this mall... most of the stores are common in other malls across America. Most are pricey but then again, this is Lahaina so that is expected. A lot of construction was going on so there will be more stores added. The...More

we were so disappointed that the whalers museum is closed because the whalers is under construction in areas including the center area. Lots of stores are open and some restaurants but not the museum and I was so looking forward to seeing it.

I am totally enamored with whaling museums (like at Nantucket), and I was so disappointed to race up the stairs only to find out that due to construction the museum is currently closed. :-(.

Whalers Village is very conviently located on Kaanapali Beach and is currently under renovation so its not in the best of shape. Regardless there are still some great shops to explore...Crazy Shirts is one of our favorites. Yes there are some higher end stores but...More

I'm rating this Average because we were disappointed in store selection. By this I mean that everything was very high end. This shopping plaza is located on Kaanapoli Beach and we assumed it would cater to the resort crowd of this area. We are not...More

A very thoughtful presentation on the history of whales and the whaling industry back in the early days of Maui.

Unless you are into very touristy shops - there is nothing worth looking at here. Good place to pick a few groceries but that's it - give it a miss if you have the option!

$70 for a pair of sandals is a bit much. There are a lot of stores that are just too high end for my taste. However, there is a small convenience store by the sandal store called ABC, this is the perfect place to get...More

You get yourself a ticket and you get 1 hour free, but if you buy something in one of the stores, get your ticket validated and get another 3 hour parking free for a total of 4 hours.

There is a bus system on Maui. Check there website to see what the routes and schedules are. I don't know if they plan to have the museum rebuilt by then. It is currently a pile of dirt. The shopping is higher end shops.
