Our Maui road bicycle rental selection includes high performance Cannondale Road Bikes, beach cruisers and hybrid comfort bikes. Both of our locations have a full service bike technician and a selection of retail accessories for riding. Reservations are available for daily and weekly rentals. We also have bikes for sale.

We had a good time but as others have said you are riding next to busy streets. The best part was not having to find a parking spot when you get to the other areas. I would only recommend if you have experience riding on busy roads.

Thank you for sharing your experience renting electric bikes on Maui. Our staff is able to recommend routes that do not require riding on the main highway, with plenty of sights to see along the way. We appreciate your review!

The bikes were awesome - easy to use and fast! You have to bike on a very busy highway with a narrow shoulder. I would not recommend this for families with young kids or for inexperienced bikers. We only went half way on the bikes and turned around. The sites were beautiful. We ended up driving our car to the furthest destination (Dragon’s Teeth) and it was amazing!!

Maui Sights & Treasures are a locally owned mother and daughter shop located at Sugar Beach Resort. They rent water sports equipment, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and even coolers.
All of the staff have great island knowledge and booked us on some memorable activities like a snorkel cruise, zipline and even parasailing.
They are open everyday and offer great insight into the island and culture.
We can recommend them as a great local resource, its like you are talking with your new best friend, they are so helpful. You are also supporting local families which is an added bonus.

Kyle did a great job explaining how to use the ebikes and he provided us with printed maps. We only had time to stop at 3 of the 6 spots but this self-guided tour was worth it. We visited Dragon's Teeth (photo) and also snorkeled. Although we did not see turtles, we did see beautiful fish. The staff at Boss Frogs was helpful in getting us our gear and fitting my daughter's mask. It was sunny so wear lots of sunscreen and also you do travel on some busy roads so we went early in the day.

This excursion allowed us to see the beauty of west Maui, but was dangerous. It is really best for people who are experienced bikers due to the amount of time you will be required to be on the busy highway, even with a bike path.

We appreciate your review. The electric bike rentals are a self led tour so riding on the main road is optional. Our staff does their best to provide excellent service and local information.

Jeff was great at explaining the features of the e-bike and, never having ridden one, I really appreciate his patience in answering my questions. He gave good directions and suggestions of where to start. You do have to ride on the highway a fair bit; but, it has a large bike path and drivers are very respectful of cyclists. The beaches and trails are incredibly beautiful! It was a unique way of seeing Western Maui’s beautiful coastline, many beaches and towns. He also provided me with a great suggestion of where to eat in Lahaina…a great spot on the ocean side with authentic, absolutely delicious food and they made an awesome Mai Tai! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The folks at the shop were great about providing bikes that worked for us and snorkeling gear that fit. They also took time talking about the route and when/where to snorkel and which food trucks to visit. Each bike hade panniers and so we had plenty of room for the snorkeling gear, towels, etc.

Everything went well, the bikes worked flawlessly and the snorkel gear provided fit well. If you've never ridden an electric bike (I haven't) there's an easily overcome learning curve.

Loved the eBikes, it was a little nerve-wrecking riding on the highway with all the other vehicles at first, but it didn’t take long to get comfortable with the bike, it was nice to cruise around on them from place to place and not have to worry about parking. Wished we could keep them our whole trip! Beautiful scenery along the way! Dragon’s Teeth was so cool to see, pretty good snorkeling at Airport Beach, Black Rock was beautiful!, not as many fish in the water there, but there was less breeze.

We had a wonderful time! We were a little hesitant about riding along the highway, but once we got out there it was fine. Beautiful ride, saw lots of turtles, Kapalua Trail is lovely. We decided not to snorkel, but it was great anyway. Highly recommend!
