Having visited other goat farms (the one on Salt Spring Island is an example of a great one) this one is only ok, and unless you really want to see some goats while your on the island, I wouldn't bother making the trek here, unless your staying in Kula, even then... Personally, I was disappointed, probably because it was so... More

Not much to see here. We purchased some goat cheese for $25 and received a big styrofoam box with 10 tiny pieces of cheese, maybe enough for about 5 crackers. We saw the same surfing goat cheese at another store that was about 3 times the quantity for $7. Total rip-off at the place where they apparently make it.

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am very confused about what you could've purchased for $25 with a tiny bit of cheese in a Styrofoam box. We do offer flights of cheese, where we give you a sample size of several cheeses served with crackers to give you an idea of what our... More

We made reservations to play "farm hands". We learned about the goats, milked them and walked them out to pasture. We then sampled many of the wonderful cheeses and truffles made at the dairy. For $28 per person, this was a bargain on spendy Maui- we were so full, we skipped lunch. We live on Oahu so are pretty familiar... More

We've been spending too much time on the beach. Discovered Kula country on the backside of the Hana highway and the agricultural tourism in the area is fascinating! Fun food items all made from goat cheese (including truffles and gelato). Learned they don't mind you bringing your own wine to taste with a flight of cheeses. Only thing that would... More

This was the lovely conclusion of a day out that included a winery, Ocean vodka farm, Grandma's Coffee, and vista stops. We enjoyed a bottle of wine (purchased during our winery tour) with a delicious flight of cheeses, hams, and crackers with cheese truffles for dessert. I am sure the tour would be fun for families or those eager to... More

We stopped by Surfing Goats Dairy on our last day in Maui. We got there close to closing so we didn't get to take advantage of all they have to offer. Although, right when you drive in your next to the baby goat pin, and they let you pet them!!!! That was my biggest goal. They're so cute and funny!... More

So, I pushed the Ocean Vodka distillery tour in return for a stop at the Surfing Goat Dairy; this is just up the road from the distillery so its a good "2 fer" attraction as both locations are remote. Small kids love this place, there are tours and a small petting area. Cheese aficionado's are in heaven as they sell... More

Very fun and informative! Great tour to bring kids on. They seem to take very good care of the goats and have a wide variety of goat cheese. Many flavors I never would have thought of. I would definitely do this again.

Had a dessert from this place at a higher end dinner place one night and was intrigued with the name and the quality. So we went on the tour ...Cute little goats and tasty chocolates and a nice little lunch. Worth going for the whole family. Mainly younger children would have the most fun.

Went there for lunch after zip lining. Been there once before so we didn't do the tour this time. Cool place, awesome cheese, very reasonably priced sandwiches for Maui. Fun for kids, worth the drive.
