When we visit Kihei, we always stay at Kamaole Sands across from Kamaole Beach III. We love hanging out at that beach. It's clean, with good shore break, making it easy and fun for sunbathing, swimming, boogie boarding and body surfing. On either ends of...More

Great for picnicking, snorkeling and swimming. We rented snorkeling equipment and they recommended this beach as it has a protective cove area. We saw fish and my daughter saw a green sea turtle. There were small tidal pools created in the rocks near shore and...More

Within two minutes of snorkeling we saw a green sea turtle and countless different species of fish. Awesome snorkel destination and not very crowded (on a weekday)

Loved it. It was my "home" beach in that it was across from my condo. People were playing bocce ball in the large park, which made me wish I had a set. Others were sitting in the (very large) lawn each night having a picnic...More

The north side of this beach has a great reef for snorkeling. Easy sandy access and a variety of fish and sea life. We saw turtles snorkeling and some right at the beach. It was windy but we managed to get a spot by the...More

White sand, clear water, family friendly. Gorgeous spot for the day! There is a grassy area with clean restrooms, you can find shade under some trees. We didn’t have snorkel stuff with us but it looked like some good snorkeling around there too. The swimming...More

Kamaole beach park was a wonderful location to catch a stunning Maui sunset or scan the waves for whales. You can also see the island crater of Molokini off in the distance from this beach. Great spot for swimming, snorkelling or a picnic.

This beach park has everything...nice sandy beach, grass, shade trees, and a place to wash the sand off your feet. Parking is free, too.

I don't know that the park has them, but you have access to public outdoor showers at the condos across the street.
