We had a great experience and we're lucky with the weather for this trip. Only a few vendors are allowed up on Haleakala for sunrise and Maui Downhill partners with Grayline's Polynesian Adventure Tours so you have to deal with their coordination issues, which were...More

They said it would be 8-9 hours door to door. Frustrating inefficiencies, waiting around, logistics issues, incompetence, etc., we had to call an uber (our $55 expense) to get back to our hotel in 9.5 hours. Others had another hour of being shuttled about. Polyad...More

We booked the Maui Downhill Bicycle Tour through Expedia. The good: While the weather did not cooperate, we were still able to see a bit of the sunrise through the thick clouds. We went on 11/30/17 and the temperatures were in the low 40s at...More

Took the sunrise tour with the bike ride down the volcano. Our driver Brad picked us up at 2:30AM at our hotel. You then drive to their base in Kahului where you get breakfast. That breakfast is on the symbolic side: a cold pastry in...More

My husband wanted to do this tour on our last visit to Maui, but all tours had been cancelled due to an unfortunate incident. So, this was on our "must do" list this trip. Initially I was scared to death because of the past incident...More

We had a really wonderful time doing this. The guides were helpful and informative and the sunrise was amazing. We appreciated the wind jackets and pants they provided as it was very cold and windy. I even bought a hat in the store at the...More

We chose to do the sunset bike ride with Maui downhill. We can’t say enough about how wonderful it was. Thank you to Billy and Willy for the awesome hospitality, and knowledge of the area, and the honeymoon bike photos!! We had a great time!

Did not do the zipline. We were not concerned about getting our shoes dirty during the bike ride. We just wanted to be comfortable. I think I wore hiking shoes.
