Held on Saturdays on the grounds of Maui Community College - UHawaii, this is a great way to meet artisans directly - and without a lot of overhead (literally!) Like a big craft fair, you can get great deals here. For example, I bought hair clips from one vender at $5/6 pieces. In town, the exact hair clip at an... More

Aloha TukeMom, Mahalo for your wonderful, high reviews. It's a pleasure to have you visit the Maui Swap Meet and enjoy your time with us. Some of our vendors make their own products and also have other stores carry them. So meeting them in person and strike a conversation about their products as well is a plus. Although, you mentioned... More

We enjoyed stopping by the new Maui Swap Meet. As a little kid, I remember trekking on the loose gravel while checking out each booth at the old Maui Swap Meet on Puʻunēnē right next to the Kahului Post Office. Let me just say it wasnt too much of a good shopping experience as it was always dusty. The new... More

We were used to the swap meet on Oahu and decided to check out this one. To say we were pleased would be an understatement! Initially the meet seems small, but it is well laid out with many types of vendors. If you can't find something here, you're really not trying. There are many great food vendors, clothing, jewelry, signs,... More

A fun rain day activity. It was cloudy so decided to go to the swap meet. This is our second time there. They have local artists, produce, souvenirs and food. It was raining so we bought umbrellas before we went shopping. Afterwards make sure you go have some Geste's Shrimp, which is across the street.

We have been coming to Maui for almost 20 years but it was a few years before we learned of the Swap Meet. We now plan all of our trips around Saturday mornings at the Swap Meet. We purchase flowers and fresh produce there to use/consume during our visit. We skip the "tourist stuff from China" but especially enjoy getting... More

Go! Go!! Go!!! It's only on Saturdays from 7 am until 1 pm but don't miss it!! It costs 50 cents to get in to this diverse, colourful, different and totally fun shopping experience!! When we are here we don't miss this on Saturdays! We've often found better, more economical deals here and very diverse shopping choices. Excellent time! Don't... More

I expected so much more from the size and location it was at. There was nowhere to eat other that the concession stand with expensive hot dogs. There was so much hype about this I guess I just thought it was going to be better, perhaps it was the weekend we went.

To say that this is the number 1 attraction to see and do in Maui would be a real stretch. However it does have a wide range of local products and a number of stalls selling them. From hats of all types, tee shirts, carvings, coffee, jewelry. Some high quality and unusual some not so. Also fresh local fruits and... More

Came in 2010 with a local and was thinking i was going to find car parts and random weird stuff like we have here at the Massachusetts swap meets. Well this is a fair to us and it is unbelievable. Great place to get the local stuff at good prices. Wonderful vendors arrive here and you can't beat the food... More
