My hubby and son borrowed some clubs from family members for a round of golf at dad's old stomping grounds. Time well spent by the guys!

Cavendish (9 holes) is owned by Lanai City and is FREE. No score cards, club house, or staff. The fairways and tee boxes are whatever is growing and might be described at "pasture like." Greens aren't too bad - watered and mowed occasionally. But as a contrast to highly manicured, expensive, resort courses, Cavendish is a real adventure. We played... More

My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon the Cavendish, literally. We had gone out for a walk and met a dead end, so we decided to walk across a field which turned out to be a fairway!
