Imagine a large playground in paradise, where cats romp and play in Hawaii's sunshine, and snooze under shady trees. Purring cats of all shapes and sizes eagerly await your visit. Our caregivers, who joyfully care for the cats, would love to meet you too. If you're interested in adopting a cat, we love matchmaking!

Very unique attraction. Well stocked with cats, employees and volunteers. It was much cleaner than would expected with that number of cats.

Couldn’t believe this was the #1 thing to do in Lanai... until we went there. What a surprise little treat. The staff were friendly and the cats loved the company. We sat a petted them for quite a while. Loved it!

This is a must see place if you're visiting Maui! You will have to travel to the island of Lana'i so it's best to book and reserve your ferry & shuttle through "Lost in Lanai". They will take you to the sanctuary, town and/or beach....More

This sanctuary is well run, the cats are so happy hanging out and they are well cared for. Such a great initiative, caring for the homeless cats and saving the local bird life. We stayed for around 2.5hrs patting as many cats as we could,...More

We were in Maui and took the ferry from Lahaina to Lana'i. You cannot bring a car on the ferry, but you can arrange transportation to the sanctuary. Just google the website for further information, which I can't post here.
