Was a fun drive and interesting views. Get a map beforehand. Wait out for deer and a couple of spots where it becomes single track and blind turns. Would not want to hit those turns if others coming from opposite direction. Hard to get lost...More

We rented a four wheel drive jeep at The Four Seasons. The front desk doesn’t give you adequate directions to get there; In fact, they tell you to beware of the puddles and walk. Listen up: Follow what we tell you. Go to Lanai City...More

Don't even attempt this without a 4wheel drive! Very unique landscape, cool to see the boulders thrown from the volcano. Different terrain from the rest of the island! Pretty views of the ocean! Once you're here, continue down the VERY rough road to Poihua beach!

Get out and walk and take in the landscape. It is very unique. Worth the time to see how the land has changed over time.

An adventurous drive, but worth you. You will need a jeep or ATV. It is amazing to see the different vegetation along the drive and then to see the landscape that looks like Mars, with beautiful ocean views.

There is something of the surreal when you walk through this Garden, almost as if you walked on to Mars and left Earth behind. I prefer to get out and walk through AFTER visiting Polihua beach (which is another distance down the road), coming at...More
