My family hiked down from the old Club Med property at the end of Hanalei Plantation Rd. There were some breathtaking overlooks of Hanalei Bay along the way. This was an easy little hike on our first full day on Kauai, and when we got...More

We spent many hours on this beautiful quiet beach. The snorkeling was great. We saw sea turtles, spotted eels, and hundreds of colourful fish.

Great spot to snorkel or just hang on the beach. Plenty of low lying trees to dip into when the rains come for a brief moment. Love the coastline here.

The trail is a little tricky to be sure. Lots of surfers taking advantage while we were visiting plus some sunbathers too. It's very pretty and there looked to be some decent snorkeling as well.

If you are fortunate to find parking at the top (there are about 8 spots of free parking), you are in luck. The trail down is next to the St Regis entrance/guard hut, and is well marked. Many steps to the bottom! But well maintained...More

This beach is a little gem but has several problems. There is almost no place to park near the entrance and legal parking is a LONG ways away. Once at the entrance you are faced with going down a steep slope on an old and...More
