The view is great, and there are some tourist shops located here as well. It is easy to get to, and is a fun sight. I imagine small kids would get a kick out of it. Overall, it seems famous but we didn't quite get the broad appeal. Worth seeing as it is free and convenient.

This is an impressive spot to watch. There are bathrooms and benches, makes a good spot for eating lunch.

This is one of the local attractions in the area surrounded with a bunch of local tourist tables with "junky" merchandise. The Spouting Horn itself is somewhat underwhelming. Visit the National Botanical Gardens close by.

One of Mother Nature's better displays. At the end of Lawai Road in the Poipu area, A very interesting display of the oceans assume power. A bonus is the vendor area, where all kinds of interesting Hawaiian articles are for sale.

It is spectacular to see the ocean spurt up through the underwater lava tube. However if the winds happen to be out of the south, you're in for a treat. Watch the ocean and the sets of waves form. Then prepare for a spout that can reach over 20 feet.

Amazing demonstration of the power of the Pacific ocean! It was especially fun to watch the incoming waves and try to anticipate the next big blow.

This was a another stop on our ship excursion tour by bus. One of the many beautiful areas we were able to visit. Just another great place to get some pictures. It didn't take long to see a water spout.

We enjoyed seeing Spouting Horn and watching the blasts. The little shops nearby had so cool items in all price ranges. But the highlight for us was seeing 3 green turtles right near the shore rocks, apparently feeding on seaweed.

We enjoyed the drive to the west side which is usually sunnier than the east side where we were staying. Be sure to visit the shopping centers in the Poipu area while you are on your way. When we got there it wasn't too crowded and we actually saw 2 spouting horns but of course it depends on the actions... More
