One of many nice beaches on Kauai. We stayed close by this beach and it was easily accessible for a great afternoon

Great time on both visits. The highlight was the opportunity to see a resting Hawaiian Monk Seal (endangered species). A close second was watching my kids surf compliments of the Kauai Surfing School and excellent instructor Kyle. He was a cool and mellow guy. Great...More

Went with another couple and spent the day at this beach. A bit more crowded then other beaches but still worth going to.

We enjoyed snorkeling here and seeing a large variety of beautiful fish. There is a nice picnic area too and we got to see a sea turtle and monk seal.

The east side of this beach is great for little ones! 1 foot deep at low tide, very gentle. The west end is great for snorkeling, though. We saw a wide variety and high quantity of fish, water was clear at low tide.

It would be good for beginner snorkeling! It is protected by a reef so water is not rough. You need to be aware that in some spots the distance between rock and water surface is very very shallow and you need to be careful... More
