Best beach ever

This is our favourite beach. Always see seals beached here. Snorkelling is great and just an all round awesome place.

Nice for beginner snorkelling and protected beach for our 4 year old twins. New Years Eve here was also a blast.

A beautiful park with a beach. Very family friendly. The fireworks were fun and well attended. Bring a mat or chair and your favorite beverage.

Poipu Beach was close to our hotel, so we walked over for the sunsets. Family friendly park, look forward to visiting here again.

Go early...gets busy. Great beach for kids. Restrooms and tables available. Easy to find. All ages enjoyed this. Walked about half mile to coffee shack.

This beach has an amazing sunset view and if you wait till after dark, you can go see the beached turtles over night. But please don't put your cell phone lights on them!! They don't like it and we don't want them to stop coming to the beach. Stay for a while and watch the sunset!

Maybe it was the time of year however the beach was not as amazing as the travel guides said. The sheltered area was good for young kids however as soon as we ventured away the bottom was rough and we had to tread carefully...even so my niece was stung by a sea urchin. Quite a different experience at Hanalie bay... More

This is a great beach for the novice snorkeler. I was quite intimidated by the winter waves on and around Kauai. The beach was a little crowded but very accessible. There's plenty of parking and they have real bathrooms and picnic tables nearby. It's a much smaller piece than you would imagine but I was there primarily for snorkeling not... More

This is a popular place for locals and visitors. Only reason this did not get my highest rating was due to the large crowds. If you can work around the people this is a great Kuaiian beach. Great snorkeling, surfing, hiking and nearby ancient ruins. What more can you want?
