We have done luaus before on different Hawaiian islands. This one was better than the other two luau we had been to. The show was tremendous. The food was excellent and as much as you want to eat. There craft booths set out before the show to stroll through and see local goods. The food was great, the deserts were... More

Here are tips for your trip: 1) Get there early. We got there 10 till and they were already letting people in. When we went there was already people in line. By getting there early we were able to pick our seats at our table. 2) Pick seats closest to the stage. We picked seats that were closer to the... More

Loved the story and performance. Food was also good. There are some gift shops and booths before the dinner. Food was good. Great family experience. Consider going on the night of your flight home

The concierge desk at the Hyatt (Expedia local experts) actually recommend this Luau over the Hyatt's. Of the three luau we have been too on various Islands, we think it the best of the three. Well organized, good food. The show is more theatrical than the regular Polynesian dance review. Ladies received a flower lei, gentleman a shell lei. The... More

We visited Luau Kalamaku on our trip to Kauai. There are quite a few luau options, and we chose this one primarily because there was a shuttle offered from our hotel. Well, it was a great experience. Our bus driver, Rosario, gave just enough narration on our ride, highlighting points of interest, offering up some great tips, and making the... More

After reading up on numerous luau options in Kauai, I wasn't quite sure which one to go with. I sure am glad I picked Luau Kalamaku! The seating for the luau is around a circular stage which makes it a good view for everyone. The show was spectacular...singing, dancing, fire poi ball twirlers, amazing costumes! The fire knife dancer was... More

We attended our first luau and chose Kalamaku over another based on reviews by other attendees! While we paid a little more, the food and drinks were great, but the show was top-notch and the atmosphere was excellent. We had the chance to attend the craft fair prior to the start, and had we got there early enough, we could... More

Good Hawaiian food and drinks. The performance was done by the artists really well. It was hard to hear as the audio was not that great. We also took the plantation train before the luau. The narrator did a great job describing the island, flora and fauna which was very informative.

Deep in island history. We were up front. It was wonderful. Got to meet new people because the table are quite large and it was just my husband and I. It is pricy but well worth, Fire dancers were great. Food was buffet style so you could get all you wanted. Had a wonderful time. I would recommend to everyone.
