The snorkeling here is some of the best on the island. Enter the water across from the shave ice stand as there is a small area of sand there as opposed to the rocky coast. Early mornings are the best with good clarity and less...More

Snorkeling can be bouncy during high tide and after a storm, but fish are abundant during low tide or beginning of incoming tide and calmer waters which is frequent. Bring your fave beverage and snacks to enjoy the wonderful sunset views from the grassy field...More

Great place to snorkel on the south side of Kaua'i! It's located in front of the Beach House Restaurant. We saw many different kinds of fish and a couple of turtles.

We went to this beach during our last full day in Kauai. It's a fairly short drive from the east side and southern hotels. This beach is quite small, and you need to park on the street across the road from the beach. There is...More

This was one of our favorite beaches for snorkeling. You doneed to go out a little further than where you see most people snorkeling. You will be surrounded by fish when you do. It's wonderful!

It was rough water during my 13-day stay in Kauai, but I really was curious to see how it was to snorkel at this beach across the street from my condo. 1 day, it finally looked safish (I'm a beginner), so I went in (my...More

There are plenty of fish of all sizes to view at this snorkeling spot. Sometimes entry is a bit difficult because of the rocks and surf. At high tide, there isn't much beach to sit on. But the variety of fish make exploring this area...More
