We took a 3-hour riding tour. This place is truly exceptional and the tour likely was the highlight of our 2 weeks on Kaua'i. Our guide Jacqui (I think that's how she spelled it) did an excellent job. We weren't rushed, she was very knowledgeable,...More

We did the Weds. morning bird walk with Julie on Jan. 9th. She is a volunteer who's now in charge of monitoring the Laysan albatross nesting site on the Garden property. What a treat to get up close and personal with albatrosses. They don't seem...More

We happened to be in Kauai on Keiki Day at the gardens so we decided to give it a try. Our one and two year olds had a blast. There was a splash pad and several climbing structures. This is a hidden gem.

We took the $35 tour and feel like we missed a lot. We were not shown the beach area even though we walked close to it, or the water area near the front entrance or any of the plantation area. And maybe being in October,...More

While I don't actually know - the property is "high" and so water would drain off quickly.

I don't believe so. Plus there's no way to see the entire place just by walking. Highly recommend the Stroll/ride tour. Cover way more ground, and the guides are really knowledgeable.
