We happened to be in Kauai on Keiki Day at the gardens so we decided to give it a try. Our one and two year olds had a blast. There was a splash pad and several climbing structures. This is a hidden gem.

We took the $35 tour and feel like we missed a lot. We were not shown the beach area even though we walked close to it, or the water area near the front entrance or any of the plantation area. And maybe being in October,...More

Calvin was our guide and was loaded with Plant knowledge and local history. Learning and identifying even a few native plants makes you look at landscapes with a different eye.

One of the highlights with me being incapacitated. Lovely guide, nature, humor, and weather. Feeling appreciative for doing something we might not have done if I could walk. And...walking wouldn't have seen so much. Thank you

We love going here and the kids like it as well. The tour is around the property of the family that donated the land. There are a ton of different plant varietals. And a lot of bronze statutes. They have the main house. A pool...More

While I don't actually know - the property is "high" and so water would drain off quickly.

I don't believe so. Plus there's no way to see the entire place just by walking. Highly recommend the Stroll/ride tour. Cover way more ground, and the guides are really knowledgeable.
