An experience not to be missed. Make sure you call well in advance of your visit to Kauai to ensure that the tour is being offered and to book your parking spot - usually only once or twice a month. Be careful of your attire...More

This Hindu Monastery is off the beaten path, so driving there is an opportunity to see parts of Kauai that many don't see. The Temple is pretty and very peaceful. There is an awesome banyan tree there inside which people sit, contemplate, pray and/or meditate.

The monastery is slightly off the beaten path but well worth the 15 minutes or so to get there from the main road. There is a beautiful meditation area under a huge Banyan tree, a beautiful temple, and interesting gift shop with unusual jewelry and...More

We had a wonderful time visiting this not so popular location. The drive was phenomenal and then the place itself was so peaceful. it rained a lot. Much later we found out it is right by the wettest place on the planet!

Three people told me about this place - I am so glad I went. Please come prepared to be conservatively dressed. No taking pictures on temple grounds. You can participate in the puja ceremonies. The meditation banyon is breath taking as well as all of...More
