We absolutely loved our yoga class! A huge highlight of our time in Kauai. The teaching was beautiful, relaxing, and the stretches were perfect for the morning after a long travel day. I would recommend to anyone! It truly doesn’t get much better than the chance to reset physically & mentally, in the most gorgeous setting no less. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

we spent a month on Kauai and enjoyed yoga classes every second day with Anya. Sunrise yoga was the best way to start our day and Anya and Andre were incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable (even loaning us their yoga mats). We are definitely beginners but loved the experience!

Practiced yoga with Anya twice while in Kauai on vacation. She is an excellent instructor, very calming, teaches helpful, soothing ways to enjoy yoga and taught me new tricks to get rid of a head cold along with some restorative poses that were wonderful. This experience on the soothing gentle beach was easily one of the best that I had while in Kauai. She is wonderful gal and she does feel like an old friend by the end of the session. The sunrise is spectacular as the beginning is under the night sky and you can spot all of the stars and the 9 am session is terrific in the shade of a tree with a gentle breeze. Try it, you will love it!

This review is strictly for the yoga class on the beach.
I thoroughly enjoyed Erica R.'s class on Friday. Her session included a good amount of movement, slightly challenging, she was also engaging, and funny, and I felt great afterward. It was disappointing that she was only available once during my stay.
For the next day, I attended classes led by a different instructor (Anya). Unfortunately, these sessions did not meet my expectations for a yoga class. The content and style were very different from what I'm accustomed to, with minimal traditional yoga poses or flows. Additionally, I found it distracting that photos and videos of Anya were being taken during the class without letting the participants know. Sadly, we checked to see if a different instructor was teaching but for the next 3 days (4 days total) it was her teaching.
Kauai Shores should review the yoga program to ensure it consistently meets the standards your guests expect. Perhaps offering a variety of instructors or styles throughout the week would cater to different preferences. I am sorry, but a shake mimicking a gorilla is not yoga. It is like yoga for toddlers. The instructor barely moved and we barely did anything. What a waste of time.
Tip:The Lava-Lava Beach Club is a cool place to dine in with live music every afternoon and evening.

Each morning we did yoga under the palms next to water's edge at sunrise. This gets one in the best frame of mind for the day's activities.

We were not thrilled about the idea of getting up so early in the morning on our vacation but are so glad we did! The morning of our journey was actually quite rainy/stormy and we were almost unable to take advantage of the great opportunity. Anya was in touch with us and we decided to give it a try and luckily the weather cleared! Sunrise yoga on the beach was an awesome experience and we are so glad we could do it. Anya was informative of meanings behind things and was a great leader. Thanks so much for sending us the pictures too-they will be lasting memories of our time together!

My parents and I attended Anya's class during our visit to Kauai. We booked in advance, however Anya was very accommodating regarding changing our date. The class was held at Kauai Shores Hotel, in a idyllic setting by the beach. The class was less challenging than the yoga we were used to at home but perfect for vacation! I can't think of a better way to start your day!

My wife and I went three times we loved it. So relaxing and really put us in an even better mood for our day ahead. I will continue on our return to London. What I liked most is that she tailor made it for those of us who are not as flexible so she told me easier ways of doing the moves. Much appreciated. Great activity to do on holiday especially in hawaii
Thank you.

Yoga with Anya is not just yoga..it is an EXPERIENCE! I always come out of it feeling totally blissed out. If you are in Kapaa don't miss Anya...she is a delight and so in tune with the land and environment that she helps you get into that energy as well. She is a very skilled teacher and deceptively gentle. I always find that my range of movement has more than doubled after a couple of classes with her but it never hurts! Don't miss Yoga on the Beach with Anya...treat yourself!

I took Anyas yoga class while staying at the resort nearby. I was stoked to see that the resort even offered a class! I truly believe that any kind of yoga class as "easy" or "difficult" there is always something to learn…. even perhaps even patiences. I totally enjoyed her class and even the photos she sent afterwards of us in different positions! Amazing!!
