We rented bikes from Coconut and thoroughly enjoyed our bike trip. The woman asked if I needed a basket which I surely did! We did the whole bike trail in Kapa'a. Relaxing, uncrowded and fairly easy. Stopped at an overlook and relaxed a bit (the wind did blow hard enough at times to make pedaling more difficult). Price was right... More

We made a reservation for our group of 13, including 7 kids. The guys at the shop were very patient and cool with our big family and we had a great ride on the trail. It's a worthwhile activity, especially for the money. Next time I think we'll do a full day and prepare to spend some time on donkey... More

Out of the entire week we spent in Kauai, I think my favorite day was bike rental day. We didn't make a reservation, we just pulled right into the lot next to the shop, walked in, and rented a bike with a few minutes wait (there was a couple of small groups in front of us checking in, but it... Wife and I rented to beach cruisers for half the day. We road up and down the entire multi-use path along the coast and around the shops and restaurants in Kapaa. Was a great excursion. Rental rates are reasonable and it's a no hassle, convenient place

Coconut Cruisers offered a friendly, low fuss way to spend 3 hours on the bike trail and checking out the beaches. Gale (in spite of dubious Seahawks ardor) was great and even pointed us to local happy hour post-ride. Recommend either holding to 2 hours or taking a beach picnic as the trail today is not long. Head north for... More

Looking for something different to do while on Kauai we decided to rent bikes and take the kids for a ride. Coconut Coasters set us up with bikes a trailer for the kids and helmets. We opted for a half day rental to go explore the Kauai Path. Four hours was more than enough to cover a large section of... More

We rented two cruisers from this shop based on previous reviews. Owner was very helpful and the location on the bike trail was very convenient. The price seemed a bit high to me, but it's what the market will bear and the ride along the coast was well worth it.

My husband and I rented bikes for our last day in Kauai from Coconut Coasters. It was located right on the Kuhio Hwy with parking while we rode. The bike path was about 1 1/2 miles one way and then we returned and went north for about 4 1/2 miles. The owner was very personable and helpful.. It was an... More

Great people right on the beach. Their bikes are first rate. I had a brand new Specialized. It made for a delightful ride. The ride out of there is easy but all along the coast with plenty of places to stop and enjoy. Their prices also cannot be beat. You will not find a better place to rent.
