Kauai in case you did to know it Kauai is the largest producer of coffee in the islands. Some of it rivals Kona coffee from Kauai's special plantation areas. By stopping in you can taste a few varieties of these coffees. We particularly like the Peaberry Coffee and brought some home with us. Did not take a tour, but there... More

They have a sampling room were you can just go crazy and try various kinds of coffee. A small café with reasonable prices. As well as a gorgeous view of the fields while you enjoy your recent purchases. The staff was exceptionally sweet, the grounds seem large, the shop is not small by any means, and there are lots of... This is one of the best places to visit! This is an actual working coffee plantation. Tours are free and educational. At all times they have 20 to 30 coffee samples available that you can leisurely sample for free. Small snack bar and gift shop are nice. I never go there without going home with goodies. They have a neat... More

When you're too sunburned to be at the beach for a day or so, some coffee tasting is most definitely in order. Delicious coffee and a well-maintained facility. We walked the grounds and fully enjoyed learning about the 4 million (!!) coffee plants producing deliciousness here! Brought lots of coffee home to share, and yes, it can fly home in... More

So, I try some of the samples including the flavors and the dark roasted ones. Also, I take on the tour to see how coffee is made.

We where on a tour and stopped there for a while. The view is awesome and there were many coffees to sample and they were delicious. They have a little museum about the coffee industry there which is very interesting. You can even go into the roasting room and smell the aromas of fresh roasting coffee. The have a little... More

A little off the main road (Got to get through the 4 million Coffee plants). It's well worth the stop. How coffee is produced in the US is a quick and informative presentation. Plenty of information. Samples of the various blends and other useful information.

We loved the Kuaui Coffee Visitor and Tasting Center so much we went back twice. The coffee is amazing, and apparently well known by my coffee connoisseur friends back home. The tasting area let's you try dozens of blends, then you can buy your favorites. They ship for you, so no cluttering of your luggage. We ended up buying a... More

that's right it doesn't get any better than this. Coffee in paradise. Take a tour of the beautiful grounds then stop for all the samples. Our favorite one is the Coconut Caramel Crunch. They even now are carrying it in our local grocery store state side. So if you love coffee you'll love this place.

This is a must do activity. It's totally free to park and stroll the grounds. They've got a small trail through several rows of coffee trees with exhibits and explanations of old and new technologies/methods. You can also enjoy a free sampling deck with all varieties and flavors. And cool your throat with some ice cream (not free) and purchase/ship... More
